Biography

Jalos, Born in Old Ja'Dara he sought adventure and fame, leaving his homeland and his people, The Githyanki, to explore the world and learn the Magic of The Mystic Arcanum, whom he was intrigued by when they approached the Ja'Daran council of Elders in the pursuit of putting a Arcane Portal within Ja'Dara, which was denied. After leaving home Jalos explored the world for many years Jalos ended up in Vuabrith looking for an Old Friend from the Mystic Arcanum, Avril, so he could officially join the Mystic Arcanum.

While in Vuabrith, Jalos received a letter speaking of a job to steal a item from the Dwarven Confederation in the Horn Enclave. This would lead to Jalos meeting and becoming a member of The Heralds of The End after the completion of the Horn Enclave job in which the party stole The Apocalypse Dagger from The Saints of Markain

Due to his obligation to protect the Apocalypse Dagger Jalos continued to adventure and work with The Heralds of the End and in fact one of their first adventures Jalos was faced with his people's legendary enemies the Illithids on the Mountain of Ages, the ancestral home of the Goliaths. At the Mountain of Ages the Heralds discovered that the Illithids had used Ceremorphisis to convert Theris Harkeiin, the Weredragon Shaman of the Goliaths, into a Illithid himself and were somehow able to disconnect his Dragon form and his human form converting only his dragon form into a Illithid Dragon.

After killing many of the Illithids, Jalos collected their heads with the intent to return home and use them to show his people that their ancient enemies had returned. Before the other Heralds could intervene Jalos freed the newly converted Illithid Dragon, showing it mercy.

After this Jalos would go to Hell, kill the Dread King, and Awaken the Prince of Dream's alongside the Heralds of the End. When returning to Sol from Elling Isle with Zephyr and Haldrig Jalos witnessed the flight of the Illithid Dragon overhead. As the Dragon flew he knew mentally that the Dragon was headed for Ja'Dara with the intent to destroy Jalos's homeland. Jalos and the rest of the Heralds left with haste to teleport to Ja'Dara to protect it from the coming enemy.

On the way to Ja'Dara, the Heralds learned of the 3 Hours War and realized the threat of HIM committing to defeat him after defending Ja'Dara. Jalos stood in battle with the Heralds of the End to defend Ja'Dara with the legendary Githyanki blade The Covenant. After a pitched battle, many of the Githyanki warriors laid converted into Illithads, or defeated.

With the Dragon almost killed, Jalos was given a offer by the Dragon. If he would show mercy again and let the Dragon live then the Dragon would free most of the converted warriors turning them back into their normal forms, or Jalos could kill the Dragon and lose thousands of this people who had already undergone their Ceremorphesis.

In the moment Jalos showed Mercy again letting the Dragon leave after he turned his men back and agreeing to never return to Ja'Dara.

After this, Jalos and the Heralds went to destroy HIM and retrieve the Apocalpse Dagger which had been stolen from them. The Heralds defeated and killed HIM but were unable to save the Dagger from being destroyed.

Five Years Pass

After the dagger was destroyed the obligation to protect the Dagger no longer held the Heralds of the End together, so the different members of the group split up and went on their own adventures alone. Right after the destruction of the Dagger, Jalos returned to Ja'Dara to help rebuild.

Jalos has been home rebuilding and helping the Elves return to their homeland which was destroyed by the 3 Years War, becoming a advocate for peace and unity in the region after so much destruction.

Jalos would remain rebuilding until he was called upon by an ancient beacon that beckoned him to war. So Jalos left home again with a promise to return after one final adventure.
